Who We Are
Flight to Vitality is a youth-led nonprofit organization founded by Olivia Thuraisamy (Vice President) and Jeansolle Kim (President). We started this initiative out of a deep desire to support and uplift young people facing significant challenges in juvenile detention centers.
As youth ourselves, we recognized that many detained youth struggle with feelings of isolation, hopelessness, and a lack of encouragement. We created Flight to Vitality to deliver personalized, uplifting messages through handcrafted miniature paper airplanes.
Our team believes in the power of small gestures to make a big difference. Through our paper airplane initiative, we create moments of joy, hope, and connection for young people navigating difficult circumstances.
